The Batesville Lady Bulldogs came into South Dearborn Saturday night and took both the JV contest and the varsity. The second half started sweet but soon went sour and they found themselves with a 5-point deficit to start the fourth. The fourth quarter started with the Knights on a 7-0 run to take a 24-22 lead, only to have it slip away in the last 4 minutes of the game, giving them their 3rd loss of the season by a final of 35-28. Morgan Bressert led her team with 9 points, followed closely by Emily Townsend with 8. Ellen Barrett tossed in 6, Morgan Wolfer and Morgan Hayes had 2 apiece, and Shelbi Kurtz added one from the line to complete the scoring at 28.
