The Knights wrestling team lost a hard fought match against a tough Jennings County Panthers team Thursday night. All of the Knight wrestlers put forth great effort, but unfortunately could not pull out the win. Jimmy Shaw, at 160 pounds, and Brandon Manning, at 145 pounds, both won their matches by major decision. Sean Caddell and Nathan Boggs also won their matches, in the 285 and 113 weight classes. Both of them won with pins. Caddell pinned his opponent in nine seconds, a mere two seconds away from the school record. Josh Hines was the lone winner in the junior varsity matches. He beat his opponent in the 120 weight class with a pin. After this match the wrestling team’s dual meet record dropped to 5 and 2. Over the Christmas break the Knights will travel to the Madison Cub Classic, as well as the Connersville Invitational.
