Meet Recap

Sophomore Cainan Schaefer (106) crowned Semi State Champion! The Knights took nine wrestlers to New Castle on Saturday looking to advance wrestlers to the State Tournament in Indianapolis. Junior Nathan Boggs (138), and Sophomore Cainan Schaefer were able to win their first match advancing one step closer. In the ticket round Boggs lost, ending a great season with a record of 38 – 4. Schaefer continued his quest with a 9-0 win over his opponent. Schaefer did not stop there he continue to win, and in a convincing manner in the finals. He pinned his opponent to be crowned Semi State Champion. Cainan is the third Semi State Champ in school history. Congratulations Cainan!
