Boys Varsity Wrestling · Knights Wrestling – 6 Time Regional Team Champion and 3 Time Triple Crown Champion

Technique, strength, determination, integrity, and guts. These five words have been written on the front of every South Dearborn wrestling practice shirt for years.  These shirts are worn by every South Dearborn wrestler to every wrestling practice. Why the same shirt day after day, year after year ? To remind them what it takes to be a champion on the mat and in real life.

For the third time in coach George Gardner’s career, he has lead his wrestlers to a Triple Crown title. It is a difficult task to win an EIAC and Sectional title championship together in a season, to add the Regional title on top of all that is a rare accomplishment that most can only hope for.

Six  wrestlers will  advance onto Semi-state next weekend in New Castle, Indiana. It will be a great day of top notch wrestling with hopes of these SD wrestlers winning and going onto the State finals at Banker Life Fieldhouse.  The wrestlers advancing are as follows.
