Boys Varsity Wrestling · Bryer Hall places 6th in IHSAA Wrestling State Finals earning his spot on the podium!

The IHSAA State Finals this weekend was the place to be. Bryer Hall traveled from South Dearborn to wrestle in the State Finals at 126 lbs. This weight class was said to be the deepest weight class in the state with 3 returning state champs, 2 runner-ups and 4 state placers.

After the parade of Champs, the wrestling began on Friday night with one round of wrestling and then there were 3 rounds of wrestling on Saturday.  Hall went 2-2 against the top wrestlers in the state.

The matches went as follows:

Hall over Kyle Lawson, sophomore of Bellmont High School

Cayden Rooks, junior and returning State Champ of Columbus East, over Hall

Hall over Brycen Denney, Senior of Monrovia

Christian Mejia, Senior and 2 time state placer, over Hall

Hall earned his spot on the podium placing 6th at the IHSAA State Finals.

Hall completes his Freshman year with a record of 48-4.
