The Lady Knights of South Dearborn top Swtizerland County 62-44 in the first round on the River Town Classic. The Lady Knights Jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead during the opening minutes of the game and was up 19-13 at the end of the first period. South Dearborn kept the pressure up during the second quarter and was able to extend the lead to 36-28 at halftime. By the end of the third period the Lady Knights continued to build on their lead by increasing the margin to 13 entering the fourth. The Lady Knights were lead by Alyssa McClanahan 16 points, 4 assist, Kyrstin Bond’s 15 points 7 rebounds, Brooke Huddleston 9 points 5 rebounds, Riley Ampt 9 points 4 rebounds, Elsa Meek 6 points 6 rebounds, Bry LaGreca 5 points 5 assist, Rileigh Powell 2 points. The South Dearborn Lady Knights improve their record to 9-9 on the season and look to win their first River Town Classic in 5 years as they take on the Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers Friday January 4th the tip off will follow the consolation of the 6:00pm tipoff between Switzerland County and Rising Sun.
