Girls Junior Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball · The Lady Knights Basketball Program Honors the Seniors and Takes Down Franklin County


Last night, the Lady Knights Basketball program honored their Seniors.  They are pictured from left to right:  Makenzie Teke, Kendra Wilson, Brooke Huddleston and Alyssa McClanahan.

The Lady Knights Varsity team picked up their first conference win of the season over Franklin County with a score of 48-44!  It was a close back and forth battle the entire game. Elsa Meek contributed with a 3 point play with just under a minute left in the game that put South Dearborn up for good. Kendra Wilson sealed the game with two clutch Free Throws with 10 seconds left. The Lady Knights were lead in scoring with Kyrstin Bond 18 points, Elsa Meek 14 points, Alyssa McClanahan 7 points, Riley Ampt 5 points, and Kendra Wilson and Brooke Huddleston each chipped in 2 points. With the win, the Lady Knights improve to 10-12 on the season.

The Junior Varsity lost to Franklin County by score of 32-29. The Lady Knights were lead by Emily Elliott and Zoe Ross 8 points each, Breonna Burton and Layne Keith 4 points each, Bailey Eaves 3 points, and Rylee Thies 2 points

Both teams are back in action Thursday 1/24 at Batesville with a 6:00 pm JV tip off.
