In one of the most competitive meets in the nation, SD’s Rachel Rohe competed in the Shelbyville Semi-State. High wind gusts and heavy downpours hindered the runners throughout the race. Rohe finished in 155th place in her first attempt at this level in the tournament.
Coach Baney said after the race, “the conditions were not the best to say the least. Rachel has her sights set on her Senior year, on getting back to Semi-State again. Hopefully, the entire girls team will make it to this level. She had a breakout season, but she’s already looking forward to what’s next.”
