The Knights Boys Basketball team traveled to Franklin County Saturday night to open up EIAC play. The Knights had a slow start to the game and trailed the Wildcats by one at the half. The second half was a different story as the Knights wore down the Wildcats and took the lead and never looked back, ending with a 71-56 win.
The Knights were led in scoring by Alex Shackelford with 22 points (10-12 FG), Eli Hoffman with 20 points (6-9 FG, 6-6 FT), and Quentin Stevens and Reese Willoughby with 8 points each.
The Knight Junior Varsity also improved to 2-0 with a 54-49 win over the JV Wildcats. The JV Knights were led by Austin Thies with 18 points, Jake Powell with 10 points, Tanner Hughes with 7 points, and Logan Ross with 6 points.
The Knights will be back in action Wednesday night as they travel to Covington, KY to play Holmes High School.
