Knights News · Knights Fall to Batesville in a Hard-Fought First Round of Sectionals 0-3

The Knights played their best battle of the season in the first round of sectionals Monday night. They held the Conference-Leading Batesville Bulldogs 0-0 for the first half. In the second half, the Bulldogs were able to slip three behind our backline, but SD kept up the attack and had multiple chances to score, but with no luck, ending the Knights’ 20/21 season.

We would like to thank the parents, fans, and supporters of South Dearborn Men’s Soccer. Also, thanks to the young men who worked tirelessly for the past months preparing for and playing for SD. These guys are some of the best that South Dearborn has to offer. We are so proud to have coached these guys and to get to know them.

Good luck to our seniors Tanner Hughes, Hunter Ross, Kevin Brown, Andrew Estanislao, Zander Clayton, and Paul Lehmann on their future endeavors. The world will be a better place with these guys contributing to it as adults. Thank you, boys, for your hard work and dedication to the team. We wish you all the best in the future.
