SD Boys Defeat Switz, Continue to Rivertown Championship

On Thursday night, the South Dearborn Knights entered the annual Rivertown Classic outscoring the Switzerland County Pacers 60-58. In a true team effort, both offensively and defensively, several Knights made it to the scoreboard. Last night at home, South Dearborn’s boys varsity team took a tough loss to the visiting Batesville Bulldogs. The SD varsity boys’ basketball team played arguably their best “complete” game in a long time Friday night to send the Switzerland County Pacers home disappointed. Final score was 65-60.  Three Knights scored in double digits, as Collier Holtegel and Weston Taylor tied for the team lead with 19 and Austin Miller put in 12.
