The Knights travelled to Connersville to take on 2-Time defending Conference Champs/4A sectional champions with nearly everyone back from last year. In similar fashion the Knights lose closely battled games to the Cubs in opening home games. JV had a slow start, but managed to hang around being down 10 at halftime. The JV squad had a strong 4th quarter in which they cut lead to 1 point before Madison free throws sealed the game 33-30.
