The Knights Boys Tennis Team Fight Long and Hard At the Connersville Invitational

 The Knights traveled to Connersville on Saturday and competed in a four way match. After the drawing, we were picked to play Rushville first. The Knights lost (4-1) after playing in matches that lasted 2-1/2 hours! They didn’t give up! Knights Boys Varsity Tennis Defeats the Tigers!

This year, the Knights return five varsity players and have picked up an additional six players.  SD’s return to the courts showed confidence in all areas! The Knights opened up their season on Tuesday night against Lawrenceburg, and came out with a big victory   5-0! They swept all of their opponents off the courts! Varsity

SD Boys Tennis Fights Hard Against Connersville

Knights lost to Connersville on Tuesday evening but never gave up. The score was 1-4 with our win coming from newly formed #1 doubles team of Nate Cantrell and Kyle Swensen. All players fought hard. Alex Shackleford refused to quit, going 3 sets at the #2 singles spot.
